Participants were divided into a test group drinking MyHealth water and a control group drinking ordinary water from the same source. The study was carried out under double-blind conditions. Each participant drank 0.5 l of water before each of three meals.<\/p><div class=\"mh-stats\"><div class=\"mh-stat\"><div class=\"mh-num\">92<\/div><div class=\"mh-lbl\">participants (73 women, 19 men)<\/div><\/div><div class=\"mh-stat\"><div class=\"mh-num\">19\u201382<\/div><div class=\"mh-lbl\">years \u2013 age range<\/div><\/div><div class=\"mh-stat\"><div class=\"mh-num\">2 groups<\/div><div class=\"mh-lbl\">test and control, min. 40 people each<\/div><\/div><div class=\"mh-stat\"><div class=\"mh-num\">24 days<\/div><div class=\"mh-lbl\">average observation period (21\u201328)<\/div><\/div><div class=\"mh-stat\"><div class=\"mh-num\">1.5 l<\/div><div class=\"mh-lbl\">of water a day (3 \u00d7 0.5 l)<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<h2>Coal mine programme (2013\u20132014)<\/h2>\n<div class=\"mh-card\"><h3>Employees of the Knur\u00f3w-Szczyg\u0142owice mine<\/h3><p>Thanks to cooperation with the Board of Kompania W\u0119glowa S.A., MyHealth was the workplace drinking water at the Knur\u00f3w-Szczyg\u0142owice mine. From the employees covered by the programme, a group of men from almost all workplaces \u2013 with different exposure to stress, physical effort, dust and high temperature \u2013 was selected in two age groups. Tests were repeated after 3 and 12 months and compared with tests from the period when a different brand was the workplace water.<\/p><div class=\"mh-stats\"><div class=\"mh-stat\"><div class=\"mh-num\">5,900+<\/div><div class=\"mh-lbl\">employees covered by the programme<\/div><\/div><div class=\"mh-stat\"><div class=\"mh-num\">approx. 200<\/div><div class=\"mh-lbl\">men in detailed tests<\/div><\/div><div class=\"mh-stat\"><div class=\"mh-num\">2 groups<\/div><div class=\"mh-lbl\">by age: up to 36 and older<\/div><\/div><div class=\"mh-stat\"><div class=\"mh-num\">3 and 12<\/div><div class=\"mh-lbl\">months \u2013 follow-up test dates<\/div><\/div><div class=\"mh-stat\"><div class=\"mh-num\">1.5\u20133 l<\/div><div class=\"mh-lbl\">of water a day<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<h2>How it was measured<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"mh-meth\"><li>Medical examinations at the start and end of observation<\/li><li>Laboratory blood tests<\/li><li>Ultrasound and ECG<\/li><li>Anthropometric measurements: body weight, circumferences<\/li><li>Blood pressure measured every few days<\/li><li>Well-being questionnaire based on the SF-36 form<\/li><li>VAS scale \u2013 sensations compared with the starting point<\/li><li>Statistical analysis within and between groups<\/li><\/ul>\n<h2>How much oxygen is in the water<\/h2>\n<p>Oxygen dissolved in MyHealth water is its most important feature.
